This tale stars Nicki, Tyler, Daniel, and Adam :)
It was a grim tuesday afternoon, and school was about to let out. Daniel and Tyler were discussing the all-important 'Pirate vs. Ninja' debate.
"Ninjas pwn Pirates!" Tyler said.
"Psh! Whatever, Tyler", Daniel insisted,"Pirates would totally kick ninja butt!"
"No way. Ninjas would dominate before pirates even realized they were even being attacked. They would be too drunk to be aware of anything anyways."
"...Point taken. You win this round, Tyler." Daniel said, defeated.
Tyler smirked and said, "There's always next time, Buddy."
Just then Nicki came happily skipping towards them, smiling. "And what shall we be doing today?"
"Demon Hunting." Adam said, butting into the conversation, "Good, old-fashioned demon hunting at the old white church*."
* The old white church is a beat up building that used to be a sanctuary for the current church many years ago. It's still standing, but very old and unpredictable. Many people, including these 4, believe it to be haunted.
"Sweeeeeet." Tyler and Daniel said simultaneously.
"Yay! I'll take pictures!" Nicki said happily.
"And I have flashlight for everyone...Where's Brandon?" Adam asked.
"He had a Dentist appointment. He hasn't been here all day." Tyler answered.
"Really? I didn't notice."
"....Wow, Adam." Nicki said.
"Soooo, we gonna go do this?" Daniel said in his 'serious' voice.
"Oh, yes."Adam replied as he threw everyone their flashlights,"We're doing it."
So, the four friends trekked off to the white church--though it wasn't really a trek because it was just across the road. The second they stepped into the doorway, it felt cold--even though it was 90 degrees outside. The hallways were cluttered by debris and dirt and there was a murky smell in the air. As the four walked into the used-to-be, worn-down, small sanctuary, Adam stopped dead in his tracks."Do you guys see that over there?", he whispered, "Or am I just psyching myself out?"
"Over where?" Daniel asked.
"Over by the pulpit...the shadow." He pointed to the disfigured-looking, man-like shadow standing in front of the pulpit. Nicki quickly snapped a picture. Not a second after the flash disappeared, so did the figure.
"What was that?" Tyler questioned.
"That," Nicki answered,"is exactly why we're here."
The friends walked as one towards the stage. The closer they got, the more eerie and cold everything felt. The empty pews were an eerie reminder of all who used to worship there. As they passed each pew, Adam sprinkled some holy water on each one. "Dude, you actually brought Holy water? I thought you just kidding." Tyler said.
"This is no laughing matter", Adam replied,"This stuff is serious."
"Okay, okay. Sorry, man"
"Ohmigeez!" Nicki gasped,"Guys! Look at this!" Everyone gathered around they camera, and each were equally amazed. In the picture that Nicki took, the figure seemed to have a face. Pitch black eyes, jagged teeth, and a scary disposition. "This is our proof you guys! Now lets get outta here before this thing gets us!"
Nicki pleaded.
"I agree." Daniel said, eagerly.
"Fine..Let's go" Adam said, "I'm out of holy water anyway."
The four hurried back to the exit, and out the doors. "That was so awesome!" Tyler said, catching his breath.
As they were walking back to their backpacks, Mrs. L. was locking the door to the Red building. "Mrs. L.! Mrs. L.!" Tyler yelled.
"What? What?" Mrs. L. said with a laugh.
"We have something to show you!" Daniel said.
"Well, get on with it! I don't got all day." Nicki brought up the picture that she took inside.
"Here! Here it is!" Nicki said, excitedly.
Mrs. L. looked at the picture, and got a confused look on here face."I give up. What am I looking at?"
"The figure." Adam said
"I don't see anything except a dirty old auditorium."
"That's impossible" Adam said. As he took a look at the picture, his face turned white.
"Well, I've gotta go guys! Get home safe!" Mrs. L. said as she left.
"Dude, what is it? Daniel asked.
All four of them looked at the picture at once and they were shocked! The figure--face and all--had disappeared! None knew how or when, but someone, or something, had taken the figure off of the screen.
"Th-that's impossible!" Nicki panicked.
"Dude...How...?" Tyler wondered.
"I don't know, guys. But this thing is big. Scary big, and far from over." Adam said.
I hope it doesn't suck XD
